Flower Shine is the first piece ever created in my hand-drawn Sharpie collection and the drawing that sparked my love for this style of detailed ink illustration. A cheerful flower sits at the center of a bright, surreal nature scene, soaking up the rays as bold linework, organic shapes, and psychedelic patterns grow around it. This colorful floral artwork became the starting point for the strange, intricate visual world that would eventually become Edge of Umbra. Sometimes one drawing is all it takes to start something much bigger.
